Lahore Court Hands 10-Year Jail Terms to Senior PTI Leaders in May 9 Arson Case
LAHORE: In a significant verdict, an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore has sentenced several senior leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to 10 years in prison for their involvement in the May 9 arson and vandalism incident near Sherpao Bridge, Lahore.
Prominent Leaders Sentenced
The convicted individuals include:

Omer Sarfraz Cheema
These PTI leaders were found guilty of inciting and facilitating the violent events that took place two years ago, following the arrest of former Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi Acquitted
In contrast, former Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, also named in the case, was acquitted by the court due to lack of concrete evidence against him.
Other Party Leaders Also Convicted
The court also sentenced four additional PTI figures to 10 years each:
