Kaleb Cooper, best known for his role in Prime Video’s Clarkson’s Farm, has spoken about his long-term ambition to own farmland in his home region of the Cotswolds.

The 27-year-old farmer from Chipping Norton became a familiar face after the show’s first season in 2021 and has since appeared in every series, including the fourth released earlier this year. Away from the cameras, Cooper recently welcomed his third child with his partner, Taya.

In a recent interview, he said his life goal is to run a farm of his own. “I was put on this earth to grow food. Calves, chickens and a few pigs,” he explained, adding that he is saving as much as possible to achieve that dream.

Key points from the interview:

  • Cooper currently manages four acres of rented grassland, where he keeps a herd of 200 beef cows.

  • Agricultural land in the Cotswolds costs around £20,000 per acre, making ownership difficult for young farmers.

  • Despite the challenge, he remains determined to secure his “slice of Cotswold heaven.”

The young farmhand admitted that rising prices are a major obstacle, saying the market is “going through the roof.” Still, he insists he is committed for the long term and believes patience will pay off.

Fans can expect to see more of him on screen, as filming is underway for the fifth season of Clarkson’s Farm in Oxfordshire, with release planned for 2026.
