Western Wyoming Community College’s Board of Trustees will hold its next meeting this Thursday at the Green River Center instead of the usual Rock Springs campus. One of the main items on the agenda is a decision on a contractor bid for the Library to Learning Commons renovation project.

The college received just one proposal in the first round of bids. A&B Home Improvements of Rock Springs submitted the offer for $315,000. The full project is expected to cost about $705,000 and will be funded from the college’s capital construction budget. The board first gave approval to seek bids in January, and the Wyoming Community College Commission signed off on the project in April.

Along with the construction bid, trustees will discuss whether to renew contracts with Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services of Atlanta and CH4 Realty Group of Rock Springs. Both firms are working to sell college-owned properties.

The meeting begins with a Higher Learning Commission accreditation refresher workshop at 5:45 p.m., followed by the regular session at 6:45 p.m. Both will take place at the Green River Center and are open to the public. The full agenda is available on the college’s website.
